Pearson Consulting offers specialist access and learning advice in the museums and heritage sector. The consultancy brings a fresh perspective to the provision of educational resources and services for historic sites and arts venues. The interpretation strategy is designed to meet the needs of particular clients and their audiences. Pearson Consulting aims to be as inclusive as possible and works with a wide range of audiences.
The lead consultant is Anne Pearson who has a background as a museum educator at the British Museum in London and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. She is a member of the Heritage Lottery Fund’s National Directory of Expert Advisers (Access and Learning.)
Since setting up the independent consultancy in 2000 Anne has worked with a wide range of local authority and independent museums and other arts venues in the UK. She is an experienced researcher and the author of five books for children on the ancient and medieval world. Anne is also a specialist in physical, sensory and intellectual access to the arts and has published in this field.
Pearson Consulting strongly advocates partnership and frequently collaborates with colleagues whose own specialist skills and experiences in the heritage sector enrich the service offered to clients.
